We are dedicated to the safety and well-being of employees at every level of our organization no matter the cost.

The safety and health of employees at Western States Construction are of primary importance.  It is the Company’s policy to provide safe and healthful working conditions and operating practices that will ensure a safe work environment for employees.

Accidents represent a needless waste of human resources and economic loss.  A safe and healthful operation conserves human and material resources, and is essential to efficient production. Before work starts on any project, a site specific safety plan is tailored to identify and mitigate any distinctive safety concerns unique to a particular project.

All levels of management have a primary responsibility for the safety of all employees.  The employee in turn is expected to adhere to the regulations and policies outlined by the Company.

These responsibilities can be met only by working continuously to promote safe work practices among all employees and to maintain property and equipment in safe operating condition.  By working together, we can maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

In the 20 years that Western States Construction has been in business, we have had 0 lost time accidents. We pride ourselves on having received the highest scores possible on our CPARS and CCASS ratings from both the US Corps of Engineers and the National Guard Bureau.
